What information we collect

Jahforge ("we," "us") operates jahforge.net. This policy covers the information we collect through the site itself. It doesn't cover information you might separately give us by phone, text, or in person, though the same principles apply.

We collect information in three ways:

• The demo request / contact form. Your name, the trade or business type you select, and whatever you enter in the "phone or email" field. If you pick a call time, we also store the date and time you booked.
• Checkout. If you purchase a site or a Care plan, we collect your name, email, phone number, and the service/add-ons you selected. Payment card details are entered directly into Stripe's own secure payment form. They pass to Stripe, not to us, and we never see or store your full card number.
• Automatically, in aggregate. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) logs basic technical information for security and performance, things like IP address, browser type, and pages requested. We don't run any analytics tool on top of that today. If we ever add one, it'll be a privacy-focused, cookieless option (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics), and we'll update this policy first.

How we use it

We use the information above to:

• Respond to your demo request and follow up about your project
• Schedule and honor the call time you book, and send you a confirmation
• Process payment for a site or subscription you purchase, through Stripe
• Send service-related emails: a lead notification to our own inbox, a booking confirmation to you, and receipts from Stripe
• Keep basic business records of who we've quoted, built for, or billed
• Understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site so we can improve it

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We do share it with a small number of service providers who help us run the site and business, each bound to use it only to provide their service to us:

• Stripe: processes payments and stores billing/card information under its own privacy policy. We never receive or store your full card number.
• Cloudflare: hosts the site, sends our transactional emails, and stores booking records, under its own privacy policy.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Jahforge, our clients, or others.

Payments

All card payments on jahforge.net are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Your card details are sent directly from your browser to Stripe. Our server and our database never handle or store your raw card number, expiration date, or CVC. We do receive limited transaction metadata from Stripe (such as the service purchased and the amount charged) for our own records.

Cookies & analytics

We don't set any cookies of our own, and we don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The only cookies on this site come from Stripe, which may set a small number during checkout as part of its own fraud prevention. Those exist to help process the payment you're requesting and are governed by Stripe's privacy policy, not ours. We currently run no analytics tool of any kind; if that changes, it'll be a cookieless option and we'll update this policy first.

How long we keep it

We keep contact-form and booking information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your inquiry, deliver a service you've booked, and maintain basic business records, and no longer than necessary for those purposes, unless we're required to keep it longer by law (for example, financial records tied to a payment). You can ask us to delete information that isn't required for those purposes at any time. See "Your rights" below. Payment records are retained by Stripe according to its own policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your information, where we're not required to keep it
• Opt out of any non-essential communication from us

Children's privacy

Jahforge's services are directed at business owners, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the information we hold. The site is served entirely over HTTPS, payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe, and infrastructure runs on Cloudflare's network. That said, no method of storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our tools change. If we make a material change, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
