Terms of Service.
The rules for using jahforge.net and buying from Jahforge, in plain language.
Last updated September 27, 2026
Who we are, and agreeing to these terms
jahforge.net is run by Jahville Sebastian Jean, doing business as Jahforge, based in Fort Walton Beach, Florida ("Jahforge", "we", "us"). We design and build websites and related marketing services for local service businesses.
These Terms of Service apply to anyone who visits the site, fills in a form, books a call, or buys from us. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You must be at least 18 years old, and able to enter a binding contract, to buy from us.
Orders and the agreement you accept at checkout
Every purchase comes with its own agreement, shown at checkout, that you accept by ticking a box before you pay:
- Website packages, Care, and custom invoices are covered by the Website Development & Service Agreement.
- The $100 custom demo is covered by the Demo Build Agreement.
That agreement sets out the scope, timeline, revisions, ownership, refunds and other terms for your order, and a full copy is emailed to you after payment. These Terms of Service cover everything else. If the two ever conflict, the agreement for your order wins.
A form submission, a call, or a quote is not an order. An order exists only once payment is completed at checkout, or once we both agree the work in writing.
Prices and payment
Current prices are shown on our Packages page, in US dollars. We may change our prices at any time, but a change never affects an order you have already paid for. If a price on the site is shown in error, we may cancel an affected order and refund it in full before any work starts.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Website packages, the demo, and Care are one-time payments made in full at checkout. Every website package includes 6 months of Care; after that, Care is bought up front for a month or a year, and it never renews automatically. Ads management is billed monthly until you cancel with the notice set out for that service. A website package includes your domain registration, in your name, for its first 5 years; renewals after that, taxes, advertising spend, and third-party subscription costs are separate and are paid by you, usually directly to the provider.
Refunds
You can cancel any website order or demo for a full refund if you tell us in writing before we start work on it. We let you know by email when work begins. Once work has started, the amount paid is non-refundable, because it pays for custom work made only for your business. A domain registration cannot be undone, so its cost is not refundable once the domain is registered. The full refund terms are in the agreement for your order. If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us before disputing it with your bank, so we can put it right.
Demos and example sites
The example websites shown on jahforge.net are concept demos built to show our design work. Unless we say otherwise, they are not launched client websites, the businesses named on them are not our customers, and nothing on them is an endorsement by any business. Prices, phone numbers, and details on demo pages may be placeholders.
A paid custom demo stays the property of Jahforge, as set out in the Demo Build Agreement, and its cost is credited toward a website package if you order one.
How we contact you
When you fill in a form, book a call, or place an order, you agree that we may contact you by email, phone call, or text message about that inquiry, your call, or your order. Standard message and data rates may apply. We do not add you to marketing lists or sell your details. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying to say so or emailing us. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Using the site
Please use jahforge.net lawfully and for its intended purpose. You agree not to:
- Submit false information, or forms and orders in someone else's name without their permission
- Send spam, automated submissions, or malicious code through any form
- Try to access parts of the site, systems, or data that are not meant for you, or interfere with how the site runs
- Copy, scrape, or reuse the site's design, code, text, or demo pages without our written permission
We may refuse service, cancel an unpaid request, or block access to anyone who breaks these rules.
Our content
The jahforge.net site, including its design, code, text, graphics, and the Jahforge name and logo, and every demo page we build, belongs to Jahforge or is used under licence. Ownership of a website we build for you passes to you as set out in your Website Development & Service Agreement.
Third-party services and links
We rely on trusted providers such as Stripe for payments and Cloudflare for hosting and email, and the site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of services and websites we do not control.
Disclaimers
The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep the site accurate and running, but we do not guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or up to date. Nothing on the site is a promise of any particular search ranking, traffic, leads, or revenue. We build and test the websites we make against the WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility guidelines before handoff; after handoff, keeping your site accessible, including anything you or others add to it, is your responsibility, as set out in your agreement. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about the site beyond those stated in the agreement for your order.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Jahforge is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business, arising from your use of the site. For any claim relating to an order, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for that order. For any other claim relating to the site, our total liability is limited to $100. You agree to cover Jahforge for claims arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Disputes and governing law
If something goes wrong, please contact us first. We both agree to try in good faith to resolve any disagreement for at least 30 days before starting legal action. These terms, and any dispute about the site or an order, are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Okaloosa County, Florida, including small claims court where it applies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our services change, and we will change the "last updated" date above when we do. Changes apply from the date they are posted and never change the agreement for an order you have already paid for. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
